Become a Music for Life Instructor

Share the Joy of Music and Movement with All Ages — From Babies to Seniors!

Music and movement classes are about creating a safe, joyful, and engaging space — and you can be the one to make it happen!

You dont need to read music, sing in tune, or dance perfectly to lead a Music for Life class. All you need is energy, compassion, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children, parents, and seniors alike. Music for Life programs — Toddlers Tango, Babies Boogie, and Seniors Samba — are about building connection and joy through music and movement, encouraging people of all ages to move, engage, and have fun.

Why Become a Music for Life Instructor?

Music for Life is a unique, proven program created by Tamar Frieden, a dance therapist with a passion for using music to enhance cognitive, emotional, and social well-being. Music has the power to engage people of all ages — from babies discovering rhythm for the first time to seniors reconnecting with memories through familiar songs.

Whether you’re working with young children or seniors, the benefits of music and movement are undeniable:

Music for Life combines music, singing, and movement in a way that improves quality of life and creates lasting moments of joy for both children and seniors.

Instructor Opportunities

Babies Boogie (Ages 3 months – 2 years)

Introduce babies to the world of music and movement! Babies Boogie uses simple rhythms, gentle movements, and colorful instruments to engage babies’ developing senses. As an instructor, you’ll guide parents and babies through playful exercises that enhance motor skills, language development, and bonding.

Toddlers Tango (Ages 1 – 4 years)

Get toddlers moving and grooving! Toddlers Tango is designed to engage young children through fun, interactive music and movement activities. This class helps children develop self-confidence, body awareness, and social skills. Parents love it because it gives their kids a head start in key developmental areas — and it’s a whole lot of fun!

Seniors Samba (Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living)

Bring joy and connection to seniors through the power of music. Seniors Samba is specifically designed for memory care and Alzheimer’s communities, using familiar music to stimulate memory, improve coordination, and increase social interaction. You’ll lead seniors in gentle exercises that engage both the upper and lower body, helping to improve confidence, mobility, and emotional well-being.
